What happens when I change my card?

When you save a change to a card, every copy of it on a customer's phone updates. Apple and Google tell the phone a new version is ready and it fetches it, usually within a minute. Customers do not need to do anything, and they are not notified about a plain edit.

That is the point of a card that lives in a Wallet: a new number, a new logo, new hours, and the card in two hundred pockets is right the next time it is opened.

Changing your business name or your own name on the Account page updates every card that shows them in the same way.
